Incepted in January, 2015, Virudhunagar Toastmasters Club is now a team of knowledgeable, experienced and selfless individuals who together target efficiency in the language skills and the public speaking skills of the members. WHAT HAPPENS IN A TOASTMASTERS MEET?
A Toastmasters meet is designed with the idea of providing platform for members to practise public speaking and leadership skills.
​
Every meet has three sections; a prepared speech section, a table topics sections (Extempore speeches); an evaluation section. There are around 10 different roles played by members to conduct these three sections of a Toastmasters meet effectively. Members nominate for the roles, prepare, rehearse and finally present themselves on the day of the meet.

Majorly there are two tracks that members cover through the system.
-
Communication track – by taking up project speeches
-
Leadership track – by taking up other roles
Anybody can visit our club as a visitor (guest) and observe the entire meet. One observation leads to an enormous exposure to Toastmastering.

Virudhunagar Toastmasters Club is just like a home away from my home in my hometown and I have always enjoyed the best luxury and comfort, whenever I visit the Club. The thirst for knowledge amongst the members is very evident from the spirit and zeal they exhibit in contesting. And not to mention, the Club within a year of establishment had done a great PR, especially through Membership Campaigns and Social Media. I personally feel that I have always had a red carpet welcome and inestimable lessons learnt, being just an occasional visitor of the Virudhunagar Toastmasters Club.

Welcome to Virudhunagar Toastmasters Club. We are the club with members who are passionate towards public speaking. Our club is proud to have District-level award-winning speakers and leaders as our members. Though our club is only 2 year old our club has attained new heights in toastmasters’ fraternity and has reached people in wider spectrum. Our club is a friendly and supportive environment where we come together to practice and improve our public speaking and leadership skills through constructive feedback and mutual support.
