Virudhunagar Toastmasters Club
Virudhunagar Toastmasters is an authorized Club officially chartered and certified by the Toastmasters International, California.
Incepted in January, 2015, Virudhunagar Toastmasters Club is now a team of knowledgeable, experienced and selfless individuals who together target efficiency in the language skills and the public speaking skills of the members. The club also functions with the goal of taking the skill of speaking to many who seek support and guidance in the same.

Communication skills and Leadership skills are inseparable. Individuals who come with the need for one get home with both. Today, the club is a mix of entrepreneurs, professionals, professors, trainers, language lovers and learners. This ardent assortment gifts the quality we rejoice at every meet.

Our dedication and professionalism during our regular meets, meticulous planning during our PR events and active involvement in the contests organized by Toastmasters International have staged us at great heights.

Toastmasters
International
Toastmasters International helps men and women learn the art of speaking, listening and thinking. These vital skills promote self-actualization, enhance leadership potential and foster human understanding. Toastmasters has been in service for more than 85 years, offering proven and enjoyable ways to practise and hone communication and leadership skills. Members practise speaking in front of an audience to improve their communication skills.
The mission of a Toastmasters Club is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every individual member has the opportunity to develop oral communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth.
Founded in 1924 at California, USA by Dr. Ralph C. Smedley, this worldwide organization works in pursuit of excellence in communication and leadership skills. Today, there are more than 3 lakh members and over 15,600 clubs located across 135 countries. There are about 1000 clubs in Asia and over 300 in India and Srilanka.

District 82, Toastmasters International
One of the major reasons for the success of Toastmasters International is its well defined hierarchy of governance. Toastmasters Clubs across the entire world have been segregated geographically into 92 districts. Each district holds an average of 10 divisions. A division encompasses an average of 4 areas. An area serves around 5 clubs. There are leaders and executives at each level aiding the functionality and growth of the organization.

District 82 is the district that lodges all the Toastmasters clubs at Tamilnadu and Srilanka. All the clubs in these regions fall under the direct jurisdiction of District 82, TMI. The district has its own board of officers who take immense care to ensure that every benefit of the movement is enjoyed by every member in the district.
